From 1st March 2021, all HGVs more than 12 tonnes (GVW) entering or operating in Greater London have needed to hold a valid HGV Safety Permit. New PSS rules apply from 28th October 2024.
The fine for none compliance with the London Direct Vision Standard (DVS ) / Progressive Safe Systems (PSS) is £550 per day.
